biochem sucks

i'm really wondering how i'm going to study for the next exam. it's 2 weeks away, and as i sit in class, i remember back to how crappy it was the first time around in Davis and how teachers haven't improved all too much in teaching the subject. if the current instructor (this course has about 5 or 6 different people teaching different parts of the class) would actually give us the correct handouts so that we can follow along in lecture as he spits out the steps of glycolysis and the TCA cycle, i might actually come close to being enlightened. however, when his handwritten overheads don't correspond to any of the diagrams he gives us, and he tells us to know "this aspect of so and so" and "this is guaranteed to be on the test" well, it doesn't do anyone in the class much good. and i've tried to quickly copy the overhead, but i get halfway through it and we're on to the next one. sheesh! i'm already taping his lectures, but now i think i'm going to have to bring a digital camera to class, cuz my memory is not as photographic as i obviously need it to be.
